Meet Dr. Jean-Guy Daigneault

Chiropractor, Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner, Wellness Expert & Public Speaker

Male placeholder photoI became a chiropractor because I received chiropractic care from the time I was a little boy and throughout my 15-year hockey career. I don’t think I would have made it through my hockey career without chiropractic. I like helping people transform their lives so they can live to their full potential.

A French-Canadian Connection

I think God was on the move when I chose Life University. My chiropractor called me one day at the time I was trying to learn English in Peoria, Illinois where I lived for a few months. He told me I should go and check out Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I spent a day with someone from Montreal (I’m French Canadian) there but I didn’t think anything was exciting in Davenport so I went back to Peoria.

One of my coaches who I had played Midget AAA for was in Atlanta working as a coach for the International Hockey League, (a farm team of the Tampa Bay Lightning at the time). I decided to visit him and while I was there, also visited Life University.
EXPLORE OUR SERVICES

While watching The Turner Cup final in Atlanta, there were about 15,000 people in attendance yet the only French Canadian, who was attending Life University, sat beside me at the game! I visited Life University with him before returning to Peoria.

After visiting, I got excited about attending Life and started school in January 1996 after doing my prerequisites and undergrad work at McGill University. It was at Life University where I met my wife, Dr. Denise.

Helping Others Live to Their Full Potential

I want people to live to their full potential! We help people enjoy greater health through clinical nutrition and Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP). There are only a few people in the state of Michigan who do CBP. I’ve also been a CBP instructor for many years at the University of Quebec at Three Rivers in Montreal.

We consider the education process in our office to be a priority. We spend time nurturing our patients through education, which includes a monthly class and a monthly “Dinner with the Doc’s.”

God, Family, and Chiropractic

The priorities in my life are God first, my family and then my office. If I’m not in my office, I’m either with my kids, at our home or at church. I’m fully committed to wanting people to be healthy. When I was only eight years old, my father passed away of a heart attack. He didn’t take good care of himself. He had diabetes, lost feeling in his legs, and lost his sight.

Every Tuesday night when I give a doctor’s report, I tell the story. I want to be able to help people who are sick and suffering, and allow them to know something that they didn’t know before. Our office is fully committed to people’s health. We’re willing to do whatever it takes to help them get their health back.
