Meet Cassie Marantz

Cassie MarantzRegistered Yoga Teacher

Cassie is an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher)-500. She has been practicing yoga since 2005 and teaching since 2012.

Her teaching is influenced by multiple lineages, primarily Vinyasa-based with an emphasis on alignment. Cassie has extensive experience teaching both active and restorative styles of yoga,incorporating meditation and breathwork as desired. Cassie thrives on helping people discover more conscious, useful relationships with their bodies and lives through practice.

She specializes in private and small group clientele – and does not believe that one size fits all. Whether someone is looking to strengthen their core, recover from injury, cross-train, or simply de-stress, Cassie cultivates sessions to suit her students’ individual needs. Her client baseranges in age, ability, and experience level, and comes from all walks of life, including former athletes, Pulitzer prize winners, novelists, and CEOs.

She has taught group classes in top studios and gyms in Boston, including Boston Yoga Union, JP Centre Yoga, and Healthworks. Her classes are known for being supportive and lighthearted.

She received her 200-RYT at South Boston Yoga and her 500-RYT level certification through Boston Yoga School. She is a lifelong student and constantly learning from movement professionals, including Patricia Walden, Ame Wren, Nikki Vilella, and Alex Auder.She has recently joined the faculty of Boston Yoga School.

Cassie is a former competitive runner and tennis player. She has a BA, cum laude in Psychology and Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College in 2006.
