Meet the Team
Sheldon, Practice Manager
In her role as practice manager, Sheldon helps ensure that our practice’s daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. She was inspired to work in dentistry, as she’s always loved medical professionals and had the opportunity to work in a dental clinic before joining our team.
“I love the fast pace, the people, and educating patients on the importance of oral health.” Sheldon also enjoys meeting new people and treating different generations in one family.
Sheldon earned a Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2007 and keeps up to date in CPR and first aid by taking courses.
Outside of the practice, Sheldon loves going out with her little dog Lottie. She also enjoys being a goalkeeper for hockey and playing summer soccer. Sheldon has three young nephews with whom she spends time. She likes to watch their rugby games when she can. She enjoys travelling and particularly loves the Middle East. “I also try to cook, but sometimes it’s a massive fail!”
Delia, Senior Receptionist/Dental Assistant
In her role, Delia enjoys crafting and implementing policies and procedures that help make our practice’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. She possesses a Certificate V in Healthcare.
In 2014, Delia visited a dentist as a patient, and he offered her a job in the clinic. Since then, she has started working in dentistry and loves what she does! Delia finds it most fulfilling to hear patients express their appreciation when she helps them.
Outside the practice, Delia likes to hike and read. She also speaks fluent Mandarin and Korean.
Debbie, Senior Receptionist
Debbie enjoys the face-to-face contact with patients each day, with a love of working with people. With many years in customer service industries, Debbie is dedicated to delivering your patient experience that goes above and beyond your expectations.
You’ll love how Debbie helps you feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment you step in.
In her spare time, Debbie likes to go walking, spend time with her family (particularly her three grandchildren), travel, socialise and have fun in the sun.
Tracey, Senior Dental Assistant
Tracey is a dedicated and experienced Senior Dental Assistant with a passion for healthcare and helping others. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, ensuring the highest level of care for patients under her supervision.
Professional Background
With a Dental Assistant certification, Tracey has honed her skills and built a solid foundation in the dental field. She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements by actively pursuing professional development and continuing education courses, including obtaining a first aid level 4 certification.
Inspiration and Fulfillment
Tracey’s inspiration to pursue a career in dentistry stems from her desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives through healthcare. She finds great fulfillment in providing compassionate care to patients and contributing to their overall well-being. Her dedication and commitment to her profession are evident in her work and interactions with patients.
Outside of Work
When Tracey isn’t assisting patients in the dental office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. Engaging in various activities such as DIY projects, gardening, and participating in a scout group with her two children keeps her energized and fulfilled. Additionally, Tracey has a deep love for animals and cherishes every opportunity to be around them.

Riya, Oral Health Therapist
“Growing up being petrified of the dentist made me want to overcome this stigma and provide a dental environment that is calm, comfortable and enjoyable.”
In 2020, Riya earned a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health from Auckland University of Technology. She received the One Health Dental Award for Excellence in Dental Health Education that same year. In 2021, Riya obtained the Auckland Regional Dental Service (ARDS) Certificate of Completion. She stays abreast of the latest in the field by taking various continuing classes. Riya attends hygiene study groups and has taken a Guided Biofilm Therapy MasterClass.
Inspiration and Fulfillment
For Riya, the most fulfilling aspect of being an oral health therapist is educating her patients about their oral health and preventing gum disease and other dental issues. “I believe through a warm personality and gentle touch patients can have a good experience that makes them want to return!”
Outside of Work
When she’s not caring for patients’ smiles, Riya likes spending time with friends and family, staying active in nature and eating good food!
