Meet Dr. Tereshel Johnson, CACCP
A West Omaha Chiropractor
Dr. Tereshel attended the University of Minnesota and Michigan State University. With a desire to enter the health field, she majored in biochemistry and microbiology. After her graduation, she enrolled at Logan University near St. Louis, Missouri.
During her years earning a Doctor of Chiropractic, she discovered Chiropractic BioPhysics®. By correcting the structure of the body (shaping necks, scoliosis’, etc), the ideal nervous function would follow. This technique is the primary method used today at Green Chiropractic.
Dr. Johnson is also a Certified Pediatric chiropractic from the The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Dr. Johnson is also a certified Webster’s Technique practitioner. The Webster’s technique is a gentle chiropractic adjustment that aligns the pelvis and includes a soft tissue release of associated muscle groups. It allows the pelvis to function properly during pregnancy. The technique reduces soft tissue tension that may cause uterine torsion which allows for an ideal environment for the baby to grow and move. Webster’s technique is helpful in providing relief for common lower back and sciatic pains that pregnant women often experience.
An Emphasis on Headache Relief
Dr. Tereshel has a specialization in addressing headaches, migraines, and pediatrics, along with pregnant mothers. She is the founder of the Omaha Headache and Migraine Clinic, the first and only of its kind in the Omaha area.
The additional training Dr. Johnson has undertaken includes:

- Advanced Certified graduate of the Whiplash and Brain Traumatology program from the San Diego Spine Institute
- Certified in Acupuncture

Dr. Tereshel is a mother of 3 and understands the gentle touch that infants, toddlers and children require. She welcomes all ages of patients.

Staying Active and Involved
As a hockey mom, Dr. Tereshel travels with her children to their tournaments all year round. She is a dog lover and is into pet rescue, having founded Bandana Dog Days. At this yearly event, rescue dogs can find their forever homes. She also supports a hockey fund for underprivileged children and sews customized hooded towels/pillowcases/blankets for foster children. In her spare time, you’ll find her working out, gardening, and playing with her boys (and their friends) at the ice rink, back yard, or dirt biking.
